High School Journal of Contemporary Philosophy

Now Open for Submissions

The Journal of Contemporary Philosophy is a publication dedicated to fostering rigorous and open-minded philosophical inquiry among high school students. We welcome submissions that engage with both analytic and continental traditions, recognizing the rich diversity of approaches that have shaped philosophy from the late 19th century to the 21st century.

Our mission is to create a space where young thinkers can explore, question, and contribute to ongoing philosophical conversations. Topics may include, but are not limited to: language, mind, metaphysics, ethics, political theory, aesthetics, phenomenology, structuralism, existentialism, postmodernism, and more. We encourage original essays, critical reflections, and creative interpretations that demonstrate clarity, depth, and thoughtful engagement with modern philosophical ideas.

Whether examining the logic of Frege, the ethics of Arendt, or the metaphysics of Deleuze, our journal seeks to bridge traditions and inspire new perspectives. We aim to cultivate a pluralistic and intellectually rigorous environment where high school students can refine their philosophical voice and contribute meaningfully to contemporary debates.

Submissions are open to all high school students with an interest in philosophy.
